Charlie Kirk Sounds the Alarm on GOP’s 2028 White House Threat
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is raising a red flag for Republicans, warning that the United States is undergoing a transformation that may jeopardize conservative prospects in the 2028 presidential election. According to Kirk, the most significant threat to the GOP’s long-term political viability is not policy missteps or campaign strategy—but rather unchecked mass immigration, which he says is being exploited by Democrats for permanent electoral dominance.
Speaking candidly during a recent episode of his popular podcast and on social media, Kirk expressed concern that the ongoing immigration crisis—intentionally fueled by the Biden administration—has less to do with humanitarian outreach and more to do with engineering a future voter base that would cement Democratic power for decades.
“The biggest threat to Republicans winning in 2028 is the millions of illegal aliens the Biden administration has let into the country—who will eventually be given amnesty and the right to vote,” Kirk warned. “This is a form of demographic warfare.”
Kirk’s warning is grounded in recent reports confirming the scale of the ongoing immigration surge. According to a New York Times analysis cited by Fox News, the Biden administration has presided over the largest influx of migrants in American history. The federal government has admitted more than 6.5 million illegal immigrants since 2021, in addition to allowing hundreds of thousands more through parole programs and legal loopholes.

Data supports Kirk’s concern. A Heritage Foundation analysis found that immigrants, particularly those from Latin American nations, overwhelmingly support the Democratic Party. In California—where mass immigration dramatically reshaped the political landscape over the last three decades—Democrats now dominate every statewide office, and Republicans have been relegated to the political margins.
Kirk is not alone in sounding the alarm. Former Trump officials, including Stephen Miller and Ken Cuccinelli, have long warned that the immigration system is being weaponized to alter the electorate. Miller recently said, “The Biden administration is using immigration as a tool to dissolve the American nation-state and replace it with a globalist, borderless society.”
Conservatives argue that the left’s plan is twofold: first, flood the country with millions of foreign nationals under the guise of asylum or humanitarian relief; second, enact amnesty or voting rights—either through legislative pressure or activist courts. Both President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have previously supported amnesty for illegal immigrants, and Senate Democrats have floated proposals to normalize immigration status en masse.
From a Christian conservative viewpoint, the crisis is not merely political but moral. Kirk, a vocal Christian himself, has argued that the integrity of a nation is rooted in its moral foundation. “God established nations, not borderless bureaucracies,” he said. “A country has the right—indeed the responsibility—to protect its borders and preserve its culture.”
Critics on the left have attempted to frame Kirk’s rhetoric as xenophobic or alarmist, but he pushes back, arguing that his position is grounded in facts and constitutional principles. “This isn’t about race. It’s about the rule of law, national identity, and the preservation of our Judeo-Christian heritage.”
Polls suggest Americans are increasingly dissatisfied with the administration’s handling of immigration. A CBS News poll in May 2025 showed that over 60% of Americans disapproved of Biden’s border policies, with a growing number citing security and economic concerns.
Kirk urged Republican leaders not to downplay the issue or leave it to campaign season talking points. Instead, he believes the GOP must make securing the border and halting mass migration a central pillar of its platform. “If we don’t act now, 2028 will be the Democrats’ coronation,” he warned. “This is not hyperbole.
