Alexander Soros Pushes Democrats to Emphasize Trump’s Felony Status

In a recent statement, Alexander Soros, son of leftist billionaire George Soros, urged Democrats to seize every opportunity to label former President Donald Trump as a ‘convicted felon’. This call to action comes on the heels of Trump’s guilty verdict for falsifying business records, a verdict that has significantly polarized the American political landscape.

Soros wrote in a post on X that “repetition is the key to a successful message” and that Democrats want American citizens to “wrestle” with having to vote for a “convicted felon” in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

The jury in Trump’s business records trial found the former president guilty on all 34 counts on Thursday.

“Democrats should refer to Trump as a convicted felon at every opportunity,” Soros wrote in his post. “Repetition is the key to a successful message and we want people to wrestle with the notion of hiring a convicted felon for the most important job in the country!”

This statement aligns with the Soros family’s long-standing support for progressive causes and their active involvement in political advocacy. George Soros, a prominent financier and philanthropist, has been a vocal critic of Trump and his administration, funding numerous initiatives aimed at promoting liberal policies and combating conservative movements.

Alexander Soros’ comments reflect a broader strategy within the Democratic Party to leverage Trump’s legal woes as a means to galvanize their base and sway undecided voters. By consistently referring to Trump as a convicted felon, Democrats aim to underscore the contrast between their own commitment to the rule of law and what they portray as Republican complicity in criminal behavior.

In April 2023, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree concerning payments made to adult entertainment star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.

Breitbart News previously reported that Bragg, who was elected in November 2021, received indirect funding from the elder Soros.

George Soros gave $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, which spent money to elect Bragg.

Alex Soros’ involvement in this strategy underscores the ongoing influence of wealthy donors and political activists in shaping party tactics and messaging. The Soros family, through their Open Society Foundations, has long been a major player in American and international politics, funding a wide range of progressive causes and initiatives.

This latest move by Alexander Soros is part of a broader effort to ensure that Trump’s legal troubles remain front and center in the political discourse. By urging Democrats to consistently refer to Trump as a convicted felon, Soros is advocating for a relentless focus on accountability and the rule of law as key themes in the upcoming election.

As the political battle lines are drawn, the impact of this strategy will be closely watched. Whether it succeeds in swaying public opinion and influencing the outcome of the 2024 election remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that the issue of Trump’s legal status will continue to be a contentious and central topic in American politics.

In the coming months, the effectiveness of Alexander Soros’ advice to Democrats will be tested in the crucible of the campaign trail. For now, his call to action highlights the intense and ongoing struggle for narrative control in a deeply divided nation.
