During his Thursday night’s State of the Union address to Congress, Joe Biden went off script after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) interrupted him, shouting “Laken Riley,” the name of the 22-year-old Georgia medical student allegedly killed by an undocumented immigrant.
“Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal,” Biden said, mispronouncing her first name. “To her parents, I say my heart goes out to you.”
Biden’s off-the-cuff, and honest opinion, that foreign nationals crossing the US/Mexico southern border are illegal aliens, was until recently the position of the Democratic party.

Back in 2009, now Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer vehemently spoke out AGAINST Illegal Immigration.
Democrats have recently been triggered by the word “illegal,” arguing that it’s dehumanizing toward immigrants (illegal aliens). As a result, they quickly criticized Biden’s use of the term, particularly since he ordered his immigration agencies in 2021 to no longer use “illegal alien” to describe undocumented immigrants.
“There was a lot of good in President Biden’s speech tonight, but his rhetoric about immigrants was incendiary and wrong,” Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) posted to X shortly after the address.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) also responded: “Let me be clear: No human being is illegal.”

But when asked by a reporter on Friday whether he regretted using the word “illegal,” Biden didn’t express remorse. Biden said that they are “technically not supposed to be here.”
Biden told NBC News host Jonathan Capehart that he regrets using the term “illegal” during his State of the Union address to describe the savage killer of the 22-year-old Georgia nursing student.

Biden also misnamed Riley not once, but twice during the address — calling her “Lincoln.” The president has yet to apologize for that horrendous mistake.
“I shouldn’t have used illegal, it’s undocumented,” he told MSNBC.
The death of Riley has become a rallying cry for Republicans, a tragedy they say encompasses the Biden administration’s handling of the U.S-Mexico border amid a record surge of illegals breaching the southern border.
“Look, when I spoke about the difference between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about in the border was his, the way he talks about vermin, the way he talks about these people polluting the blood. I talked about what I’m not going to do. What I won’t do. I’m not going to treat any, any, any of these people with disrespect,” Biden said.

Trump adviser Chris LaCivita blasted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) over his speculation into former President Trump’s search for a vice presidential candidate, dubbing the former GOP rival a “sad little man.”
He ripped the response as “tone deaf” and a “pivotal moment” that highlights the candidates’ “two very distinct differences in approach on the border invasion.”
“There’s a clear difference,” he said. “One is sympathetic, coddling, and making excuses. And one wants to put a stop, put an end to it.”
