Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and 2024 presidential candidate, has reignited the debate over the origins of the infamous Russiagate scandal, claiming that more whistleblowers are coming forward to expose what she calls a coordinated campaign to take down Donald Trump.
In a recent interview, Gabbard revealed that numerous individuals with insider knowledge are lining up to reveal details about the intelligence community’s alleged role in orchestrating the Russia collusion narrative. According to Gabbard, the roots of this conspiracy trace all the way back to the Obama administration.
“This wasn’t just about going after Trump,” Gabbard warned. “This was an attack on our democracy, weaponizing our institutions against a political opponent. And it’s bigger than most people realize.”
The Russiagate scandal, which dominated headlines for years, accused Donald Trump and members of his campaign of colluding with the Russian government during the 2016 election. After a lengthy and expensive investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, no evidence of criminal conspiracy was found.
Despite the lack of definitive proof, the media frenzy and political fallout deeply damaged Trump’s presidency and fueled unprecedented levels of distrust in the U.S. government. Now, Gabbard says the truth is finally beginning to surface.
“People who were on the inside, who knew what was happening and didn’t feel safe speaking out at the time, are now stepping forward,” Gabbard said. “They know the American people deserve the truth.”
The revelations come amid growing scrutiny of the so-called Deep State—the unelected bureaucrats and intelligence operatives alleged to have used their positions of power to undermine Trump’s presidency. For Gabbard, who has long been critical of intelligence overreach, these new voices are essential to reclaiming integrity in government.
“These whistleblowers aren’t partisan,” she explained. “They’re patriots who understand that when power is abused like this, it threatens the foundation of our republic.”
Gabbard’s remarks also cast renewed light on the involvement of former Obama-era officials, including former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who have been accused of playing key roles in promoting the Trump-Russia narrative despite questionable evidence.
What’s particularly disturbing, according to Gabbard, is how the corporate media amplified these claims with little scrutiny, while dissenting voices were silenced or smeared. “This wasn’t just about intelligence agencies,” she said. “It was a media-political-intel alliance that deceived the American people.”
Gabbard is now calling for a full investigation—not just into Russiagate itself, but into how federal agencies and legacy media outlets cooperated to push a false narrative that influenced two presidential elections.
She believes the only way to restore public trust is through transparency and accountability. “We need to hear from these whistleblowers,” Gabbard urged. “And Congress must act to ensure this never happens again.”
As more individuals step forward, the implications could be seismic. If their testimonies confirm what Gabbard alleges, it may reveal a coordinated abuse of power at the highest levels of American government. The fallout could rival Watergate in both scope and consequence.
The question now is: Will the political establishment allow these voices to be heard? Or will they once again be buried under a mountain of censorship and denial?
