Megyn Kelly Says E. Jean Carroll May Have Just Handed Trump The Election

On Monday morning E. Jean Carroll, the looney-tune 80-year woman who in 2019 claimed that Donald Trump raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the 1990s, started her celebration lap after winning a huge judgment again the former president on Friday.

An anti-Trump 9-person jury returned a verdict in Carroll’s defamation case awarding her an outrageous $83.3 million, well over the $10 million she was seeking in damages. The case revolved around Trump’s 2019 statements about her while he was president.

Trump has denied the allegations and called her a “whack job” who’s “not my type.”

This is the same woman who previously told  CNN’s Anderson Cooper that ‘rape is sexy’ and a ‘fantasy’ –  caught off guard, Copper cut to a commercial break.

President Trump vowed to appeal the verdict.

“Absolutely ridiculous! I fully disagree with both verdicts, and will be appealing this whole Biden Directed Witch Hunt focused on me and the Republican Party. Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon. They have taken away all First Amendment Rights. THIS IS NOT AMERICA!” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Friday evening shortly after the jury returned the verdict.

Carroll then trashed Trump during an appearance on CBS Mornings and said she’ll do “everything” she can to help Joe Biden beat Trump in 2024

Monday evening Carroll appeared on Rachel Maddow’s show joking that she fantasized about spending Trump’s money.

Appearing with her smiling attorneys Roberta ‘Robbie’ Kaplan and Shawn Crowley, the 80-year-old Carroll gushed to Maddow about wanting to take her on a shopping spree with Trump’s money, saying, “First thing, Rachel, you and I are going to go shopping, we’re going to get completely new wardrobes, new shoes…Rachel, what do you want, penthouse? It’s yours, Rachel! Penthouse? And France? You want France? You want to go fishing in France?”

Crowley cut in saying, “That’s a joke.”

Megyn Kelly and others believe her clebratory apperances and comments could help Trump’s appeal.

RedState reports:

As we reported, E. Jean Carroll was awarded more than $83 million as part of a defamation lawsuit by a New York jury on Friday. Victor Davis Hanson ripped the decision as an “embarrassing face” and former President Donald Trump vowed to appeal, saying there is “no longer justice in America.”

As our sister site Townhall noted, when Carroll was interviewed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America,” she said that she was going to use the money on “something Donald Trump hates.” She then suggested she would create a “fund for the women who have been sexually assaulted by Donald Trump.”…

“I have such, such great ideas for all the good I’m going to do with this money,” she declared to Maddow. “First thing, you and I are going to go shopping. We’re going to get completely new wardrobes, new shoes.”…

That reaction was not received well by many and some thought it might redound to the benefit of former President Donald Trump when you see such comments and laughter.

Megyn Kelly thought it might hand Trump the election.
