Trump Demands Probe Into Biden’s Shadow Presidency

Trump Orders Probe Into “Who Ran U.S. Under Biden” Amid Autopen Scandal

In a stunning development that has reignited questions about President Joe Biden’s cognitive and physical fitness, President Donald J. Trump has officially ordered a full-scale federal investigation into “who was truly running the country” during Biden’s term in office. The directive, posted on the official White House website on June 4, comes amid revelations that dozens—if not hundreds—of key executive orders and presidential decisions were signed using an autopen device rather than by President Biden himself.

The Trump administration’s decision follows months of speculation regarding President Biden’s frequent absences, short public engagements, and repeated verbal gaffes. Conservative critics have long questioned whether the 46th president was fit to serve, and the surfacing autopen scandal has only intensified these concerns.

According to a memorandum issued by the White House, Trump directed the Department of Justice, the National Archives, and other federal agencies to “review the legality, authenticity, and authorization” of numerous presidential actions that bear Biden’s signature via autopen. The inquiry will also identify which individuals or staff members may have been responsible for policy decisions during Biden’s presidency.

“This is not just about a mechanical signature device,” a senior Trump administration official told Truth Press. “This is about whether the American people were defrauded by a presidency that operated behind a curtain of deception and staff control.”

The autopen, a device used to replicate a person’s signature, has been employed by presidents in limited capacities, typically for routine acknowledgments or standardized letters. However, reports suggest Biden’s use of the device extended to executive orders and international agreements—documents traditionally requiring the president’s direct approval and authority.

Critics argue this practice raises constitutional red flags. “The American system is built on accountability,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). “If unelected aides were the ones crafting and authorizing major policies while Biden was mentally or physically disengaged, then we’re talking about a serious breach of trust.”

Conservative legal scholars are also weighing in. “Using an autopen to sign legally binding executive actions—especially when the president is not even in the room—challenges the very idea of presidential responsibility,” said Mark Levin, host of Life, Liberty & Levin. “This isn’t a clerical shortcut; this is a constitutional crisis.”

The mainstream media has largely downplayed the story, with many outlets referring to the autopen issue as a “nonstory” or “conspiracy theory.” But grassroots conservatives and independent journalists have continued to press the issue, and now the Trump administration’s formal investigation is giving the controversy the national attention many say it deserves.

According to The Gateway Pundit, Trump’s order specifically names several top Biden aides—including Ron Klain, Susan Rice, and Jake Sullivan—as individuals of interest. “We have to know if there was a shadow presidency happening behind closed doors,” said Trump during a recent interview. “The American people deserve transparency.”

  • The Memorandum directs an investigation into whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President.
  • The Memorandum also mandates an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Biden’s purported execution of the numerous executive actions during his final years in office, examining policy documents signed with an autopen, who authorized its use, and the validity of the resulting Presidential policy decisions.

This investigation shall address:

(i) any activity, coordinated or otherwise, to purposefully shield the public from information regarding Biden’s mental and physical health;

(ii) any agreements between Biden’s aides to cooperatively and falsely deem recorded videos of the President’s cognitive inability as fake;

(iii) any agreements between Biden’s aides to require false, public statements elevating the President’s capabilities; and

(iv) the purpose of these activities, including to assert the authorities of the President.

(b) The Counsel to the President shall also investigate, in consultation with the Attorney General and the head of any other relevant agency, the circumstances surrounding Biden’s supposed execution of numerous executive actions during his final years in office. This investigation shall address:

(i) the policy documents for which the autopen was used, including clemency grants, Executive Orders, Presidential memoranda, or other Presidential policy decisions; and

(ii) who directed that the President’s signature be affixed.

Many conservatives have echoed this sentiment. “We need to know who was really calling the shots,” said Eric Thompson, a conservative commentator and podcast host. “Biden clearly wasn’t in control. The question is, was this incompetence—or something darker like a managed presidency orchestrated by globalist handlers?”

The review also comes at a critical time as the 2026 midterm elections loom large and voters grow increasingly skeptical of establishment narratives. Polls indicate that trust in legacy institutions has reached historic lows, with many Americans saying they no longer believe the media or the federal bureaucracy act in their best interest.

This investigation could have wide-ranging implications for the Democratic Party, which staked its credibility on President Biden’s leadership in both the 2020 and 2024 elections. If findings reveal Biden was functionally disengaged from the responsibilities of the presidency, Democrats could face calls for accountability and even criminal referrals.

It remains unclear whether the investigation will lead to formal charges, but experts suggest the mere existence of the probe may force agencies to reevaluate how executive power is handled during periods of presidential incapacity.

In the meantime, Trump’s team has signaled they will continue pursuing answers. “We are going to expose the truth,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “No more hiding behind staff and secrecy. The people will know what happened—and who betrayed their trust.”

As Americans await results, the autopen scandal may serve as a defining issue of this political era, raising pressing questions not just about Joe Biden’s presidency—but about the integrity of the office itself.
